          The HORNADY modified case is a specially adjusted case used in reloading ammunition together with the OAL Gauge and serves to accurately determine the optimal cartridge length (Overall Length Gauge).


          Hornady modified cases feature:

          • Threads at the end of the case: Allows connection to the OAL gauge. The thread replaces the standard primer pocket and is used for accurate measurement.
          • Removed primer pocket: The primer has been removed to allow precise measurement.
          • Customised calibration: The cases are tailored to the specific caliber.


          The use of this modified case allows for precise bullet seating in the firearm's chamber and provides the shooter with the option to select the ideal cartridge length for improved accuracy.
