When choosing a handprimer, the fact that it has the option to set the depth of the primer in the primer bed was crucial for me. I have personal experience with all LEE primers, then with the LYMAN E-ZEE Prime primer, and also with some other types from RCBS. During the time I have used the Franford handprimer, I have not had any of the parts of the handprimer become damaged.
