FULL LENGTH SIZING DIE
The full-length sizing die consists of a die body and a needle, which can be replaced by an expader unit at will. The dies contain a vent hole which can be found in the shoulder area. It helps to reduce the resistance when formatting the cartridge case and to drain any excess lubricant when over-lubricating the die.
In the die you will find a .262'' diameter expander When using with Starline cartridges, I have come across the NECK TENSION 0.003''
I set the die to the so called BUMP 0.002'' (difference in length on the shoulders of the cartridge case before and after formatting 0.002''.)
