          A single LEE Full Length Sizing & decapping die 222 REM

          The full-length sizing and decapping die removes the old primer and sizes the cartridge case along its entire length.

          With carbide dies for pistol calibers, there is no need to lubricate the cartridge cases, but doing so does no harm. We recommend lubrication for large revolver cartridges (e.g. 44 Magnum), but lubrication is required for rifle calibers and steel dies in general.

          By design of the function of the full-size die, the cartridges are calibrated to factory dimensions to fit the chamber of any gun.
          Because of the looser clearances between the cartridge case and chamber, there is no resistance when loading cartridges into the chamber. This makes reloading much more reliable and is recommended especially for self-loading guns, and when you are not 100% sure that the cartridges you are reloading were fired from your gun.

          The decapper is held in place with a clamp. Should it be overly stressed by an obstruction, it simply slides up without being damaged. To re-align, loosen the clamp, align the decapping rod flush with the top of the clamp and re-tighten.
